Explore The Peloton Virtual Production Project
For Peloton, I was tasked with designing and developing a series of virtual production environments for their virtual lesson content. The project began with a creative brief containing a mixture of existing set references and conceptual inspiration for new environments. Working closely with the Peloton team, I helped refine the visual direction and develop concepts that aligned with the brand’s premium and energetic aesthetic.
Following the concept phase, I modelled and developed six fully realised virtual environments using 3ds Max and Unreal Engine. Each set was designed to support different lesson styles and filming requirements while maintaining a consistent visual identity across the production. Materials, lighting, and scene composition were carefully developed using PBR workflows to create polished, production-ready environments optimised for real-time rendering.
Alongside the environment creation, I also supported the production on recording days as a studio technician. This involved assisting with live scene adjustments, troubleshooting technical issues within Unreal Engine and the InfinitySet pipeline, and ensuring the virtual environments operated smoothly throughout filming.
The project combined collaborative design development with the technical demands of virtual production, requiring both creative flexibility and fast-paced on-set problem solving to deliver a seamless production workflow.
