Explore The Yellow Couch Virtual Production Project
For Yellow Couch, a talk show hosted by Jeremy Lynch for Pluto TV, I was responsible for designing and developing a bespoke virtual set tailored specifically to the show’s visual identity and tone. Working closely with the executive producer, I helped establish the overall creative direction and developed a concept that felt modern, cinematic, and visually distinctive while still functioning effectively within a virtual production workflow.
Using 3ds Max and Unreal Engine, I handled the modelling, materials, lighting, and final scene development, creating a polished studio environment designed for broadcast production. The show featured guests including Patrice Evra, Kaya Scodelario, and many other high-profile personalities, making it important that the environment remained flexible, visually engaging, and production-ready across a variety of episodes and interview setups.
Alongside the environment creation, I also supported the production on set as a studio technician, assisting with Unreal Engine scene management, technical troubleshooting, and live virtual production adjustments throughout filming to ensure a smooth production workflow.
